Tiger Paw is a new breed of hostel in Medellín which is more akin to a small upmarket hotel or bar.
Tiger Paw offers private rooms with en-suite bathrooms while even the cheaper bunk beds come with their own reading light, shelf and power outlets.
Gone are the rustic tables and free black coffee. Instead, the American owner has installed a sports bar with a pool table, 6 LCD screens and a food menu including chicken wings, black-bean nachos and hamburgers.
Situated across the street from Crepes and Waffles this is a convenient spot for hanging out in Parque Lleras.
