Oviedo is the oldest of Medellín’s mega malls with an impressive line up of shops and restaurants.
As with Medellin’s other malls, many visitors are more inclined to eat in Oviedo than indulge in expensive clothes or jewellery.
Oviedo’s convenient location on Avenida Poblado ensures that traffic is not isolated to El Poblado‘s elite – as is arguably the case with the hard to reach El Tesoro.
While since the construction of the over the top Santa Fe mall on the opposite side of the avenue, Oviedo has somewhat remarkably began to appear increasingly humble in comparison.
