Medellín is unlikely to stomach the Bogotá Beer Company in its own back yard in the foreseeable future, hence the inevitable arrival of the Medellín Beer Factory.
As the title might suggest, the Medellín Beer Factory offers a wide range of Colombian and international beers in a pub-like setting complete with pool table, rock n pop classics from the last 3 decades and the constant smell of irresistibly salty pub food.
The jury is still out as to whether the Medellín Beer Factory is as good as its counterpart in Bogotá, but one thing is now certain in Colombia; one can enjoy a draft beer and open air seating without freezing to death or getting soaked by the rain.
