Hooters is an unashamedly tacky restaurant with American food and prices to match.

Make no mistake, there are no slutty bimbos to be found in Hooters. Instead of pole-dancing and wet t-shirt contests, prepare yourself for choreographed dances and cringe worthy birthday chants.

Yet, despite the innocent reality, Hooters girls are still faced with the bleak task of keeping a restaurant full of lecherous men under control and as a result a bond is formed between them.

Indeed, jealous squabbling, childish backstabbing and allegations of table thieving aside, Hooters girls watch each others backs and it’s not uncommon to see them partying together in Parque Lleras after work hours.

Just don’t get too close and expose yourself to an impromptu chant of the ‘pollo’ song, which usually requires the innocent bystander to stand on a chair and sing the final verse alone.
