El Volador is an enticing green mountain with fresh air and 360 degree panoramic views.
With stunning 360 degree views of Medellín, specifically the tall buildings that define the cityscape of El Centro, El Volador attracts joggers, cyclists, kite flyers and doggy walkers who want to escape the intensity and noise of Medellín for an hour or so.
It’s also a designated area of ecological preservation and home to an army training facility, so there are no safety concerns despite the relative isolation.
