It is an understatement to report that El Desmadre is not just another Mexican restaurant.

It seems a part of El Desmadre’s heart still resides in a remote region of Mexico where there is a long-standing tradition for celebrating rather than grieving in the aftermath of death.

As a result, El Desmadre is saturated with joyass looking skulls and when it recenlty hosted a party for a newly deceased friend among the food on offer was bread in the shape of a bone.

But, El Desmadre is not weird or creepy. The friendly owner has created a squeaky clean restaurant with lots of vibrant colour and art.

Of course, all of this excitement would be a sham if the food was mediocre. But, on the contrary, it is delicious and those bored by the predictable salsa picante, will rejoice at the new sauces on offer.
