Casa Tres Patios is a non-profit organization which stimulates Medellín’s contemporary arts scene by providing living and exhibition spaces for artists.

Its focus is to question the nature of art, culture and contemporary society through experimental and interdisciplinary projects which blur the lines between traditional art and new media, architecture, urban design, industrial design or the social sciences.

Casa Tres Patios was founded in 2006 and is located in Medellín’s Prado Centro neighbourhood where artists from different disciplines in Latin America and other parts of the world can meet and share ideas.

The premise is that by encouraging artists to engage in intellectual and cultural exchanges – the development of art in the local community – and its exposure on a local, national and international level – is enhanced.

Casa Tres Patios has become an important addition to Medellín’s local community and its involvement now includes conferences, lectures and workshops – while its founder Tony Evanko has become an essential resource for any artist who wants to connect with Medellín’s contemporary arts scene and academic communities.
