Casa Kiwi blurs the boundaries between traditional concepts of hostels and hotels in Medellín.
Casi Kiwi attracts travellers on a budget by day who seek sophisticated and comfortable accommodation by night. Indeed, these ‘flashpackers’ are more likely to travel with an IPad or laptop than a mosquito net.
Traditionalists will argue that the romance has been taken out of backpacking and that with so much to do on the inside, Casa Kiwi possesses a Hotel California complexion where travellers rarely leave the premises.
