ZORBA is a small, enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour operator.
What’s up with that name?
Our name was inspired by an endearing film from the 1960s called Zorba the Greek.
The film captures the essence of what it is like to live, work or travel in a foreign culture.
We’re now relative veterans at living in Medellín, but our experiences have not been unlike the foolhardy ventures portrayed in the film.

Well, we hate sales pitches, but here’s 4 reasons you might want to travel with ZORBA.
1) Informative
In the travel business, it’s not uncommon for the local buffoon to try his hand at being a tour guide – thinking that new arrivals to the city will be none the wiser.
Rest assured, we only work with guides who are 100% dedicated to what they do, and who, as natives to Medellín, know the city inside, outside, upside-down, and all the crevices in between.
2) Bilingual
Of course, our Colombian guides are well-versed in the English language – although if you want to mix things up with a little Spanglish here and there, you’d be reckless to pass up the opportunity to practice.
3) Private
We only manage private tours – which generally means we’re able to guarantee a certain level of comfort – whether it be travelling in a nice car – or just a feeling of control – over how the tour unfolds.
4) Customizable
Our tour itineraries are already well-thought-out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take a detour or rip-up the script altogether and start over – in fact – sometimes that’s half the fun of traveling.
